Walker and Goodman were involved in a well-publicised child maintenance court battle in July concerning their 13-month-old daughter Kinara and their 4-year-old son Kairo. The England star said that Goodman had shown "insatiable greed" following the judge's decision in his favour. Goodman has now revealed that although she wouldn't want to alter their past, she no longer has a relationship with Walker, who also has four children with his separated wife Annie Kilner.
Speaking on ITV's This Morning on Monday, Goodman was asked if she had any regrets about her affair with Walker, to which she responded: "I can't say I have any regrets because my children are my world. They wouldn't be here, they wouldn't be the way they are."
She also revealed that she no longer has any relationship with the City full-back: "Currently there is no relationship and everything is dealt with through the lawyers, but yeah."
When asked about how her children are handling the dispute between her and Walker, Goodman revealed: "It's really, really difficult because obviously Kairo asks a lot about his dad and he formed that bond with him. So, it's just trying to navigate that I think as best you can, because obviously everyone's situations are different, and everyone has unique circumstances, but as long as I kind of put them first, then I feel as if my consciousness is clear with that.
"It’s not where I wanted it to go at all, I thought that maybe we'd be dealing with it in private, but it didn't go that way. In the future, obviously, I hope that we can be amicable for our two children, because obviously they should come first.
"You know, they are beautiful children. It has just been really, really hard to navigate, but I just have to do my best I can for them. I kind of live in this kind of closed off bubble with them. You know, they're kind of my safe space so we just try to not listen to outside noise."
Asked how she would talk to her children about the affair in the future, she admitted: "I don't know. I didn't know I was going to have a second child, I will just have to navigate it day by day.
"I've got the easy story because his dad goes away and watch football. I will always have to tell them the truth but not right now."
With the drama between the two set to go on longer, the two are now also focusing on their futures, with Goodman announcing that she is set to appear in E4's Celebs Go Dating. Meanwhile, Walker continues to fight his way back into the starting lineup for Pep Guardiola's side as Rico Lewis continues his ascension to the starting spot.
