A VAR conspiracy?! Steve Cooper claims Leicester have 'PROOF' that technology went wrong

During Leicester's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, Jean-Philippe Mateta saw a goal ruled out for offside, but VAR ruled that he was level with the last defender, and allowed the strike to stand. Palace were 2-0 down at the time, and rallied to claim a point.
Now, Cooper has claimed that Leicester have proof VAR was wrong. ESPN reports that several pictures posted to social media - from a different frame - claimed to show that Mateta was offside, and those images may form the basis of Leicester's argument. Cooper, though, says that there has been something of a cover-up.
He told reporters: "We're over it now, it was an awful human error that we believe has been hidden a little bit.
"We have seen different images that show he clearly was offside, but unfortunately they froze it at the wrong time and he was deemed to be onside. Everything that has been seen has been a false image.
"On Monday we showed the Premier League with clear footage that actually the game was stopped at the wrong time.
"Decisions go against you whether it's in-game or VAR and we've had a massive error go against us. We don't want it to go under the radar because I don't think that's right for the players or for the supporters.
"Errors like that shouldn't happen and it's why we're changing to the semi-automated system. We felt very let down by it. We needed to stand up for the club and tell the Premier League what we thought."
The PGMOL have insisted that Cooper is wrong, per Sky Sports News, and stand by the decision made during the weekend's clash.
It remains to be seen if a punishment is handed down to Cooper by the Premier League for his statements. In the meantime, Leicester face Everton this weekend.
