Tomiyasu is said to be "ready to leave" Arsenal in the January transfer window after losing prominence at the Emirates. The Japan international has already attracted interest from Napoli, Inter and Juventus, with all three clubs considering making a move when the window reopens, according to Calciomercato. Arsenal are willing to allow Tomiyasu to leave for a fee of around €20 million (£16.7m).
Tomiyasu missed pre-season and the start of the new Premier League campaign with a knee injury. He is still yet to return to full training but may struggle for minutes when he is finally passed fit. Arsenal signed Riccardo Calafiori in the summer from Bologna and his arrival is likely to spell bad news for Tomiyasu.
Tomiyasu has played in Serie A previously and could be tempted by a return to Italy. He spent two years with Bologna before signing for Arsenal in 2021.
Tomiyasu is continuing his recovery and so will not be involved on Sunday when Arsenal take on champions Manchester City at the Etihad in a huge game in the Premier League.
