
When will Tyrell Malacia return for Man Utd?! Left-back FINALLY closing in on Red Devils return after fitness struggles

Manchester United left-back Tyrell Malacia is reportedly nearing his return to action for Erik ten Hag's side amid his long battle with injury.
Malacia, who joined United from Feyenoord two years ago, has not featured since May 2023 and missed the entirety of last season because of a knee injury. The Netherlands international underwent a "complicated" operation and it has been a long road back to fitness.
Malacia finally made an appearance in training again during the summer and coach Erik ten Hag said last month that he was "progressing really well", and now Voetbal International reports that he is in full training and almost fit once again. He is on schedule to return to the field before the end of October.
The 25-year-old managed 39 appearances for the Old Trafford club in all competitions in his debut season in England, 29 of which were as a starter. The Feyenoord academy graduate has featured nine times for Netherlands.
While United's game against Brentford on Saturday likely comes too soon for Malacia, he will hope to get a run out for Ten Hag's team for the first time in 18 months before long.
