Feyenoord have sacked head coach Brian Priske with immediate effect, eight months after he succeeded Arne Slot in the role.
Slot left Feyenoord at the end of last season after finishing second in the Eredivisie and securing the KNBV Cup, with Priske being appointed to the role in June.
Speaking in a statement that confirmed his departure, with the club currently sat in fifth after 21 games, Feyenoord's technical director Dennis te Kloese said: "It is very disappointing for all parties that we had to come to this decision.
"Although Feyenoord has certainly achieved impressive results in the UEFA Champions League with Brian, it has all been far too inconsistent in recent months and unfortunately we see too little structural progress."
