Cochrane, 43 years old, has led the England U15-U17 representative team after becoming a coach. In June 2022, he became an assistant coach at Brentford. Cochrane also worked at Tottenham and Manchester United before.

Cochrane coached Madueke during his time at Tottenham, while Lewis Hall and Rico Lewis were mentored by Cochrane when he was England Under-16 coach.
