Betis vs Las Palmas
Match preview
Real Betis have taken nine points from their last nine games in La Liga, beating Real Sociedad 3-0 in the middle of last month before defeating Getafe and Real Madrid, most notably a 2-1 win over the champions last weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have moved up to sixth in the standings, two points clear of seventh-placed Rayo Vallecano and only six points behind fifth-placed Villarreal, but the Yellow Submarine have a game in hand.
Sevilla go into the match off the back of a 2-2 draw with Vitoria de Guimaraes in the first leg of their Conference last-16 tie on Thursday night, with the Portuguese side twice coming from behind to draw level.
Real Betis are among the favourites to win La Liga this season, so it could be a very successful end to the campaign for the club, who have taken 23 points from their 13 home league games in 2024-25.
Los Verdiblancos are unbeaten in their last four La Liga meetings with Las Palmas, but the last two top-flight encounters between the two sides have ended in draws, including a 1-1 reverse fixture earlier this season.
Las Palmas are without a league win since the end of December, having drawn two and lost six of their last eight La Liga games, leaving them just above the relegation zone in 17th place.
Diego Martinez's side went into their clash with Real Valladolid last Friday on a run of four consecutive defeats, but at least they managed to end their losing streak with a 1-1 draw.
Sandro Ramirez was on the scoresheet for Las Palmas, and the former Barcelona forward has been the team's top scorer this term, finding the back of the net eight times in 21 La Liga appearances.
Los Amarillos are level on points with 18th-placed Valencia and just a point clear of 19th-placed Alaves, so another poor result this weekend could see them drop into the relegation zone.
Las Palmas are bidding to make it three La Liga games in a row for the first time since 2018, but their form heading into the home straight will be a major concern for their supporters.

Team News
Real Betis will be without the services of Ezequiel Avila on Sunday through suspension, while Marc Roca, Giovani Lo Celso, Hector Bellerin and William Carvalho will all miss out through injury.
Antony has been a standout performer in recent weeks following his arrival on loan from Manchester United in the winter transfer window, and there will be another place for the Brazilian on the right flank.
Isco will start at number 10, but there are likely to be three changes to the back four after Thursday's Europa League game, with Diego Llorente, Ricardo Rodriguez and Youssouf Sabaly all likely to come in, while Adrian will be back in goal.
Las Palmas will be without Scott McKenna, the centre-back suspended for the red card he received in the 1-1 draw with Real Valladolid last time out, while Alberto Moleiro is also out for the same reason.
Oli McBurnie had to be substituted in the first half of their last game, but the change was tactical following McKenna's red card, so the striker is available for selection.
Alex Suarez returns from suspension to bolster the squad, but Mika Mermol, Marvin Park and Kirian Rodriguez are all unavailable for the side who sit just above the relegation zone in the Spanish top flight.
