Mikel Arteta has made five changes to his side for this afternoon’s Premier League encounter with Everton.
With Tuesday night’s Champions League tie against Real Madrid on the horizon, the boss has shuffled his pack ahead of a busy period. As he did when he came on against Fulham on Tuesday, Jakob Kiwior replaces the injured Gabriel at centre-back, while the fit-again Ben White comes in for Jurrien Timber at right-back, with the Dutchman included on our bench. It is Ben's first league start since our draw at Chelsea in November before he was struck down with a knee injury.
Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Gabriel Martinelli have dropped to the bench for this game against the Toffees, with Jorginho, Raheem Sterling and last season’s matchwinner in this fixture Leandro Trossard all stepping up.
After his goalscoring return in the midweek win over the Cottagers, Bukayo Saka is once again named as a substitute as one of a number of useful weapons Mikel could call upon if needed at Goodison Park.
Having seen his side narrowly beaten in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday night, David Moyes has made three changes to his line-up.
Iliman Ndiaye made his return from injury against Liverpool and he is handed a spot on the left flank instead of Charly Alcaraz, while Tim Iroegbunam is preferred to James Garner in the middle of the park.
At the back, James Patterson replaces Vitalii Mykolenko at right-back, while Dwight McNeil is named on the bench after four months on the sidelines injured.
