It is mathematically possible for Liverpool to secure the Premier League title on Sunday.
The Reds need a maximum of six points from their remaining six fixtures in the 2024-25 season to claim a record-equalling 20th top-flight title.
However, there is a scenario where they could clinch first place this weekend.
If Arsenal loses away to Ipswich Town and Arne Slot's side follows with a victory over Leicester City a few hours later, Liverpool's points total of 79 would be unassailable with five games left.
Alternatively, if the Gunners win their next two league matches (including against Crystal Palace on April 23) and the Reds beat Leicester, Slot's team can be confirmed as Premier League champions by defeating Tottenham Hotspur at home on Sunday, April 27.
