Jan Paul van Hecke is unlikely to feature after suffering a nasty head injury in the 4-2 loss at Brentford last weekend.

With Adam Webster, Joel Veltman and Igor Julio out, Eiran Cashin may partner Lewis Dunk at the heart of the defence, though Carlos Baleba is also an option to drop in at the back.

Joao Pedro is suspended, while a further five players are injured.

West Ham United:

Graham Potter may continue with a 4-2-3-1 setup at former employers Brighton, with Vladimir Coufal starting at right-back in the potential absence of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Evan Ferguson is ineligible for the visitors, while Michael Antonio and Crysencio Summerville are injured.

Aaron Cresswell and Edson Alvarez will be assessed for the visitors.

Ollie Scarles may come into the side at the expense of Emerson at left-back.
