Liverpool came from a goal down to thrash Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 on a momentous day at Anfield on Sunday and seal the Premier League title in style.
Needing just a point to secure a record-equalling 20th English title with four games remaining, Liverpool were rocked in the 12th minute when Dominic Solanke headed Tottenham ahead.
But the title celebrations were only temporarily silenced as Liverpool hit back before half-time through Luis Díaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo.
In a one-sided second half, Mohamed Salah ended a six-game goal drought in the 63rd minute with a low shot past Guglielmo Vicario - and celebrated his 28th league goal of an outstanding season by taking a selfie with a fan.
Tottenham's Destiny Udogie then scored an own goal to complete a miserable afternoon for the visitors, who have lost 19 Premier League games this season.
Liverpool, who have now equalled Manchester United's English title record, have 82 points from 34 games, with Arsenal a distant second on 67.
Dutchman Arne Slot became only the fifth manager to win the Premier League in his debut season in English football and while it was a formality before kick-off on Sunday, there was still the small matter of Liverpool making sure the cake was iced in front of their own adoring fans.
Five years ago, when Juergen Klopp's Liverpool ended a 30-year wait for a 19th title, the COVID pandemic made for an anti-climactic finale in an empty stadium.
Sunday more than made up for it as the fans ran through their hymn books.
