Serie A officially announced that Juventus striker Yildiz was suspended for two games and fined €10,000 due to his red card in the previous game.
The Bianconeri were already two goals up in that game, when the 19-year-old elbowed Monza midfielder Alessandro Bianco.
Yildiz will surely miss the next game against Bologna on Sunday, and the sports judge give him a two-game ban for violent conduct, which would force the Turkish talent on the sidelines for another key match against Lazio on May 11.
Yildiz was aware of his error on Sunday and was seen apologising to the fans while leaving the pitch.
