Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's manager, has addressed the transfer rumors surrounding the club's captain, Bruno Fernandes.
Bruno Fernandes has been reported as a target for Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, with Middle Eastern sources claiming that the Portugal international's representatives held discussions with the club on Monday.
However, Manchester United has no plans to sell him, as he is contracted until 2027, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
'It is straightforward,' Amorim stated. 'He is an elite player, and we need our top talents. He serves as a leader and the captain, making him essential.'
'It is typical for many clubs to pursue players like Bruno and Garnacho, but we are determined to retain our best players.'
