Lazio are maintaining their push for a crucial top-four finish, having secured 11 points from their last five league games, as the intense battle for Champions League spots approaches its conclusion.

With Napoli and Inter Milan vying for the Scudetto, and Atalanta BC solidly in third, only one remaining spot is up for grabs; Juventus, Bologna, Fiorentina, and the two Rome clubs remain in the race.

Lazio clinched a 1-0 victory over relegation-battling Empoli in their previous match, with Boulaye Dia scoring just one minute into the game; the Senegalese striker's nine league goals have contributed to 11 points for the Biancocelesti this season.

Interestingly, Marco Baroni's team has earned more points away from home, winning their last three road games, but their home form has struggled, as they have drawn their last five Serie A matches at Stadio Olimpico.

Nevertheless, victories against Juventus and Lecce at home, sandwiched around a challenging trip to Inter, could secure Lazio's return to Europe's premier competition.

Over the past two seasons, Lazio have won three consecutive home games against Juventus in both league and cup; Baroni's side will aim to extend that streak to four.

However, Juventus defeated Lazio 1-0 in Turin earlier this season, and head-to-head records will decide Champions League qualification if teams end level on points.

As both Rome clubs are tied with Juventus on points, and Bologna trails by just one, that scenario is possible with only three rounds left, so mistakes are unaffordable.

In a recent showdown between contenders, Juventus drew 1-1 with Bologna last Sunday, with Khephren Thuram netting his fourth league goal of the campaign and adding to his five assists. Despite Juventus's recruitment struggles this season, Thuram has emerged as a key asset.

Under interim manager Igor Tudor, who has recorded three wins, two draws, and one loss since taking charge, Juventus has stabilized after Thiago Motta's turbulent tenure.

Tudor, who previously served in a similar role at Lazio last season, has collected only two points from three away games so far, but he will need all six points from matches against Lazio and Venezia, bookended by a home game against Udinese.

For Juventus, qualifying for the Champions League is essential, not only for their legacy as Italy's most successful club but also to avoid significant financial challenges if they miss the top four; thus, leaving Stadio Olimpico with a win is imperative.

Lazio's manager Marco Baroni has seen relief with Manuel Lazzari and Nuno Tavares returning to full training, easing concerns that Juventus-loanee Luca Pellegrini might be their only available full-back this weekend.

Adam Marusic, who sustained a knock against Empoli, is expected to be fit for his right-back role, with Pellegrini on the left. The hosts will only miss Patric and Elseid Hysaj, the latter due to suspension for his red card last week.

Nicolo Rovella, on loan from Juventus, typically partners Matteo Guendouzi in midfield, while Taty Castellanos and Boulaye Dia lead the attack.

Meanwhile, Juventus faces defensive issues, with Lloyd Kelly and Federico Gatti joining ACL victims Bremer and Juan Cabal on the injury list; Andrea Cambiaso is also out due to a thigh injury.

Additionally, Igor Tudor will be without suspended forward Kenan Yildiz, who is serving the second game of his two-match ban for a red card against Monza, and Teun Koopmeiners, who is dealing with an Achilles problem.

On a positive note for Juventus, top scorer Dusan Vlahovic has recovered and could feature from the bench; Randal Kolo Muani is slated to start upfront.

Lazio possible starting lineup:

Mandas; Marusic, Romagnoli, Gila, Pellegrini; Rovella, Guendouzi; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos

Juventus possible starting lineup:

Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Veiga, Savona; Weah, Locatelli, Thuram, McKennie; Conceicao, Gonzalez; Kolo Muani
