According to Sky Sports, John Textor has received an offer from Woody Johnson, owner of the NFL's New York Jets, to sell his stake in Eagle Football Holdings at Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace is working to convince UEFA that US businessman Textor does not hold any decisive influence over the club's operations to secure their participation in the Europa League next season.
Textor owns shares in both the Premier League club Crystal Palace and Ligue 1 side Lyon, both of which have qualified for the Europa League.
