    Leverkusen club officially announced that defender Kosonu joined Atalanta.


    According to the official statement, Atalanta activated the buyout clause and signed Kosonu from Leverkusen. It is reported that the buyout fee is 20 million euros.


    Kosonu is 1.91 meters tall and plays as a central defender. His contract with Leverkusen was originally valid until June 30, 2026.
