In the first round of the Club World Cup Group F, Fluminense played against Dortmund at the MetLife Stadium. Neither side made any progress in the first half. Fluminense tied Dortmund 0-0 at halftime. In the second half, Bellingham Jr. came on as a substitute to make his debut for Dortmund, and Kerber made a series of key saves to keep the goal intact. In the end, Fluminense tied Dortmund 0-0.
