Valbuena, who played for Kallithea FC last season, made 35 appearances and contributed 3 goals and 4 assists. He will turn 41 in September this year, but he still has no intention of retiring and is about to return to Olympiacos.
The attacking midfielder previously played for the club from 2019 to 2023, winning three Greek league titles. Reports suggest he will join the team's B side, which will compete in the second division as a professional team next season.
Valbuena has already founded a football academy in Athens and will join Olympiacos' youth coaching staff at the end of the 2025/26 season. There, he will also reunite with former French international Rémy Cabella.
