Liverpool have agreed on a fee with Bournemouth for Milos Kerkez, valued at around £40m.
There are remaining aspects of the deal to finalize, but the clubs are close to full agreement, and Kerkez is ready to travel to Merseyside once everything is settled.
The 21-year-old defender will be Arne Slot's latest signing this transfer window, following the £29.5m acquisition of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, with Florian Wirtz nearing a £116.5m move from the same club.
Kerkez has been a standout player at Bournemouth, recording two goals and five assists in 38 Premier League appearances last season, and Liverpool have shown interest in him for some time.
The 21-year-old is eager for the move, and personal terms are not expected to pose any issues.
