Manchester City will start their quest to reclaim the Premier League title next season with an opening away match against Wolves, as revealed in the fixture list on Wednesday.
Pep Guardiola failed to win any trophies last season for the first time since 2017. To turn things around next season, he will need to navigate an opening schedule that includes matches against Tottenham Hotspur (away) and Brighton (home), followed by games against Manchester United (home) and Arsenal (away).

If Manchester City challenges for the Premier League title, their match against reigning champions Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on November 18 could be pivotal. The return fixture at Anfield is scheduled for February 7.
Guardiola has previously criticized the congested festive period schedule, but the Premier League has committed to ensuring every team gets at least 60 hours between matchdays next season. Manchester City will face West Ham (home) and Nottingham Forest (away) around Christmas.
The Premier League has not scheduled any games on Boxing Day (December 26) for now, though this could change.
Manchester City faces a seemingly favorable end to the season, with matches against Burnley (away), Everton (away), Brentford (home), Bournemouth (away), and concluding against Aston Villa (home) on May 24.
Players will have less than three weeks to prepare for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, which begins on June 11.
