Lopetegui responds to West Ham chants

Julen Lopetegui has responded to the chants he received from his own fans during the loss to Leicester on Tuesday.

West Ham suffered a 3-1 defeat at the King Power Stadium and the travelling fans made their feelings on the performance clear by directing chants of 'you're getting sacked in the morning!' towards Lopetegui after the third goal went in.

"I am a coach, I am not aware about what happens around me, I am focused on the match so I can't say anything about this," said Lopetegui regarding the chants.

"The only thing that I'm worried about is if we are able to change this situation. For sure I believe in the players. We have done a good match talking about the football but talking about the score, no.

"For this, we have to improve and be more effective in the opposite box and our consistency. I repeat I am sure we are able to achieve this."
