The 2024-25 season has featured numerous breakout stars who have elevated their performances and market values to unprecedented levels.

However, no player has experienced a greater increase in market value since July 1 than Lamine Yamal.

Meanwhile, Myles Lewis-Skelly from Arsenal is now valued at 14 times his worth at the start of the season.

Transfermarkt determines player values by analyzing over 30 factors, including age, performances, injury risk, contract status, and club finances.

At present, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior, both aged 24, lead as the most valuable players in football, each at £170 million. England's Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, and Phil Foden also rank in the top ten.

The third most valuable player is the 17-year-old Barcelona star, Lamine Yamal.

Since July 1, Yamal has contributed to Spain's Euro 2024 victory and has become a key figure for Barcelona as they pursue a LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League treble.

He delivered an outstanding performance in the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter and aims to shine again to secure a spot in the Munich final.

Remarkably, Yamal's market value has doubled from £76.5 million to £153 million since July 1.

This increase exceeds the next highest by over £30 million, with Manchester City's Omar Marmoush seeing a 241 percent rise from £19 million to £64 million, an uplift of £45 million.

Cole Palmer ranks third, with his value increasing by £43 million from £68 million to £111 million, placing him ninth overall alongside players like Phil Foden, Fede Valverde, and Rodri.

Next is Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri, who has become a regular in the first team, boosting his value by £40 million and 587.5 percent to £46.7 million.

Following him is the emerging talent Geovany Quenda, a Portuguese teenager whose value has jumped to over £38 million, just £4 million below the fee Chelsea agreed to pay Sporting.

Barcelona teammates Pedri and Pau Cubarsi also feature in the top seven, with Pedri's value up £34 million (50 percent) to £102 million, and Pau Cubarsi's up £34 million (133.3 percent) to £59.5 million.

Liverpool's Ryan Gravenberch has doubled his value under Arne Slot, from £30 million to £60 million.

This £30 million increase matches that of Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike, now valued at £47 million amid transfer interest, while Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers has risen £30 million to £42.5 million.
