Paris Saint-Germain
2020: Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Bayern Munich
(Coman 59)
Kingsley Coman's goal against his former club decided a closely contested final in Lisbon. Thomas Tuchel's Paris Saint-Germain appeared to dominate Hansi Flick's side early, with Manuel Neuer making crucial saves from Neymar and Kylian Mbappé at point-blank range in the first half. However, Joshua Kimmich's precise cross to the back post allowed Coman to head the ball low past Keylor Navas for the winning goal, and Neuer later denied Marquinhos an equalizer.
Inter Milan
1964: Inter Milan 3-1 Real Madrid
(Mazzola 43, 76; Milani 61; Felo 70)
Under former Barcelona coach Helenio Herrera, Inter Milan defeated his old rivals Real Madrid with a team built on strong defense, featuring sweeper Armando Picchi and full-back Giacinto Facchetti. Key players included Spain's Luis Suárez, Brazil's Jair, and Italy's Sandro Mazzola. Mazzola shone brightest, scoring a standout opener from 20 meters, as Inter claimed the trophy for the first time at Vienna's Praterstadion.
1965: Inter Milan 1-0 Benfica
(Jair 43)
Playing at their home stadium, San Siro, Inter Milan became the third club to retain the European Cup thanks to Jair's goal just before halftime, a low shot that slipped under goalkeeper Costa Pereira. Mazzola hit the woodwork in the second half, but Inter had already secured the win, with Benfica's star Eusébio neutralized by the tight marking of midfielder Gianfranco Bedin.
1967: Celtic 2-1 Inter Milan
(Gemmell 63, Chalmers 84; Mazzola 7pen)
Mazzola gave Inter Milan an early lead with a penalty, but Jock Stein's Celtic team staged a comeback in Lisbon to win the trophy for Britain for the first time. The winning goal came six minutes from the end, when Bobby Murdoch's shot from outside the area was deflected past Giuliano Sarti by Steve Chalmers.
1972: Ajax 2-0 Inter Milan
(Cruyff 47, 76)
Johan Cruyff scored twice at Feyenoord's home in Rotterdam as Ajax, now led by Romanian coach Ștefan Kovács, secured the second of their three consecutive titles.
2010: Inter Milan 2-0 Bayern Munich
(Milito 35, 70)
After a 45-year wait, Inter Milan ended their drought for a European title under José Mourinho, with Diego Milito scoring twice in a brilliant performance. This victory capped a treble-winning season, following successive Serie A titles in 2009 and 2010.
2023: Manchester City 1-0 Inter Milan
(Rodri 68)
Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson denied Lautaro Martínez just before Rodri's precise finish secured Pep Guardiola's team their first Champions League title. Simone Inzaghi's Inter Milan had opportunities, but Federico Dimarco's header hit the crossbar, and Ederson made a close-range save to stop Romelu Lukaku in the final moments.
