According to Fox Sports, U.S. Men's national team star Christian Pulisic is set to miss out on the Gold Cup this summer.

The AC Milan winger will reportedly not be included in Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the tournament in June.

Pulisic has excelled in Serie A this season, contributing 20 goals in 33 games.

The decision has reportedly been made with his health and the 2026 FIFA World Cup in mind, after consecutive seasons in which he was 'beaten up physically'.

Pulisic's absence is not the only one that will leave a lasting mark on Pochettino's team: regular starters Gio Reyna, Weston McKennie and Timothy Weah are also set to miss the tournament due to scheduling conflicts.

The United States have not won the tournament since 2021; however, this will be one of the last opportunities for Pochettino to field his strongest team in a competitive setting before the 2026 World Cup on home soil.
