Shams said that during this year's trade deadline (February 7), the Spurs and Durant were interested in each other and may discuss this issue again this summer.

Shams said: "They (Spurs) have a lot of assets. Whether it is Antetokounmpo or Durant, I think they (Spurs) will be very active in seeking to introduce an elite wing player."

In the 2024-25 regular season, Durant averaged 26.6 points, 6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game; Antetokounmpo averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, and averaged 33 points, 15.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block per game in the playoffs.
