Although Internacional will be without star striker Enner Valencia and goalkeeper Sergio Rochet for Wednesday's game, coach Roger Machado has confirmed that Rafael Borre is available after recovering from a thigh injury.
A similar injury forced teenage forward Ricardo Mathias off in the first half of Inter's draw with Sport, making Borre's return timely.
If started, the Colombian striker could be supported by Alan Patrick upfront. Patrick is the joint-top scorer in the 2025 Copa Libertadores with five goals and aims to equal the club record of six in a single campaign.
For Bahia, midfielder Jean Lucas leads the scoring with three goals in this edition. Uruguayan striker Luciano Rodriguez is expected to spearhead their attack once more.
Plagued by injuries this season, Bahia will miss several players at Beira-Rio stadium.
Specifically, Erick is out after thigh surgery, Kanu due to a calf injury, and Ademir Santos because of a muscular problem.
Internacional possible starting lineup:
Anthoni; Aguirre, Vitao, Gabriel, Bernabei; Ronaldo, Maia; Prado, Patrick, Tabata; Borre
Bahia possible starting lineup:
Marcos; Arias, Duarte, Ramos, Juba; Ribeiro, Alexandre, Lucas; Souza, Pulga; Rodriguez
