Manchester United winger Antony has expressed that he is "happy" at Real Betis, but he acknowledges that his future remains uncertain.

The 25-year-old winger joined Betis during the January transfer window after failing to start any Premier League games for United in the 2024/25 season.

Antony went on to score nine goals and provide five assists in his 26 appearances across all competitions.

However, his stint at the club ended disappointingly with a 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday.

In an interview with CBS Sports following the defeat, Antony provided an update on his future.

"I don’t know what will happen next, only God knows," he said.

"My focus is on playing well, and I’m doing that. I have great affection for Betis and everyone there, but I still have a contract with Manchester United, and only they know what’s next.

"For now, I’ll join the national team and then take a holiday, and we’ll see what the future holds.

"I’m very happy here, as everyone knows. I go to sleep and wake up happy, but with my contract, I’m unsure of what’s coming."

His current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire in 2027.
