Wolves officially announced that after two and a half years of playing for the club, Cunha joined Manchester United with a record transfer fee in team history. It is reported that the transfer fee is 62.5 million pounds.
According to previous news, Manchester United activated the 62.5 million pounds (about 74 million euros) termination clause in Mateus Cunha's contract, which will be paid in three installments within two years.
Wolves officially confirmed that Cunha joined Manchester United with a record transfer fee in team history, breaking the team record (62 million euros) set by Mateus Nunez when he joined Manchester City in the summer of 2023.
