Reports confirm that Đorđe Petrović, the goalkeeper currently on loan at Strasbourg, has not been included in Chelsea’s squad for the upcoming Club World Cup. The club has decided not to recall any loaned players for the tournament—with the sole exception of Andrey Santos—as they consider the competition an extension of the 2024-25 season.

Other high-profile loanees like Raheem Sterling, João Félix, and Axel Disasi will also not join the squad in the USA.

However, Andrey Santos (also on loan at Strasbourg), along with new signings Omari Hutchinson, Deivid Washington, and Malo Gusto, have been included in the traveling party.
