    Borussia Dortmund Official Statement:


    Borussia Dortmund will be without captain Emre Can for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup (June 14 - July 13). The 31-year-old midfielder has not fully recovered from an adductor injury and will not travel with the squad to the United States on Friday.


    Additionally, Salih Özcan will also miss the tournament after sustaining a hamstring injury while on international duty with Turkey.
