Kevin Durant, a former Golden State Warriors star, is widely regarded as the most active player on social media in the NBA.

From engaging with critics to addressing trade rumors, Durant, who secured two NBA championships with the Warriors earlier in his career, frequently shares his thoughts on X/Twitter.

Recently, Durant addressed an accusation of 'locker room fistfights' that emerged after his challenging 2024-25 season with the Phoenix Suns.

'I have to contest this 94-footer,' Durant posted on X/Twitter. 'This some (expletive) to throw on us. Yea yea yea we were trash this year ha ha ha but we NEVER got close to this. NEVER.'

To provide context, Durant's response targeted a surprising report from his former teammate, DeMarcus Cousins.

'The Phoenix Suns reportedly had multiple fistfights in the locker room this past season (per Cousins),' as shared by NBACentral on X/Twitter.

Durant and the Suns faced significant turmoil this year. Expectations were high for improvement after two lackluster playoff runs, but injuries and a disappointing 26-26 start resulted in a season without playoffs.

Despite Durant's efficient 26.6 points per game in his 18th year, the Suns ended with a 36-46 record and missed the Play-In Tournament.

The Suns seem ready to part ways with the 36-year-old star this summer. Could Durant return to the Warriors for another stint? It's unlikely, as his preferred destinations include the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets.

Still, the Warriors, led by Mike Dunleavy, might make a last-minute effort to bring Durant back and improve his situation in Phoenix.
