According to ESPN, Nottingham Forest are targeting Juventus players Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula to enhance their squad this summer.
A source informed ESPN that the English club has reached an agreement with Juventus for both players at a total of approximately €22 million, though the transfer will only be completed once personal terms are agreed with the two young players.
The source further noted that Nottingham Forest are seeking approval from United States international Timothy Weah, aged 25, and Belgian player Samuel Mbangula, aged 21, on personal terms, including salary and contract duration.
Beyond this potential signing, the source mentioned that Forest are also in pursuit of a center forward during the summer transfer window.
Currently, both players are in the United States with Juventus for the Club World Cup. Igor Tudor's team will face Manchester City in their final group match and has already secured a place in the round of 16.
Timothy Weah's involvement in the Club World Cup has excluded him from participating in the Gold Cup for the U.S. this summer. The U.S. team defeated Haiti 2-1 on Sunday evening to top their group and advance to a quarterfinal against Costa Rica on Saturday in Minneapolis.
