Silva: We should be higher in the table

Fulham boss Marco Silva:
"I think they had four shots all the game. And two of the shots, they scored and we gave them the ball. That is the reality. We had more than 20 shots. We came here to play.
"We are not clinical. Some moments, we rushed too much the decision. We tried to do everything so quickly in our attack because we arrived so many times. Of course, we should have shown a different quality in certain moments in our attacking line.
"The biggest problem of the game was that we gave two goals for a team like West Ham, playing well. And we are penalised by that. It feels as though this has been a bit of a trend this season. It is a really disappointing night for us.
"It's been a very good season so far for us. But performance-wise, we should have been in a different position. Because the way we have been performing, the way we deserve more from the games.
"And tonight is another example of it. The way we are giving some goals easy for our opposition sides. And games that we are so dominant and so a better team than the opposition, we should have won games like that.
"But the reality is that we didn't. And it's completely our fault."
