Piotr Zielinski will miss the upcoming Champions League semi-final first leg between Barcelona and Inter Milan.

Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski has been out for more than a month.

The former Napoli and Empoli midfielder suffered a calf injury in Inter Milan's Serie A match against Monza in March and has not returned to action since.

He has already missed a series of league games. The Poland international also missed both legs of Inter Milan's Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old still needs a considerable period of recovery and is expected to miss the team's Serie A games against Bologna and Roma, the Coppa Italia match against AC Milan and the Champions League semi-final first leg against Barcelona at the end of the month.
