Just now, Barcelona officially announced the latest progress of the renovation of Camp Nou.
The original text is as follows:
Since the work began in June 2023, clear strides have been made with the Spotify Camp Nou, and new stadium is really taking shape. Attention now turns to the playing surface, with all the work to install the drainage, ventilation, air conditioning, and heating complete. Pitch preparations will begin next week, and that resplendent green of the blaugrana temple will soon shine once again.
When it comes to other areas, work continues on the third tier and its access points, and the temporary 360° scaffolding is being installed for the required installations ahead of the new roof – also known as Big Lift – including the lighting, Wi-Fi connectivity, the cameras, and every system needed for matchdays. VIP seats are also being fitted to the first tier, with the second tier soon to follow, and they are already available for the partial return to the Spotify Camp Nou.
Currently over 3,500 people are working on the new stadium project, in line with the agreement with the Barcelona City Council that runs until 30 April, whereby work can continue nonstop from Monday at 8.00am to Friday at 23.59pm. The hours on Saturday remain the same as in recent months, from 10.00am to 8.00pm, with no use of the processing plant at the site of the former Miniestadi.
