According to Spanish media AS, citing Cadena SER, Vinícius Júnior has reached an agreement with Real Madrid on a new contract running until 2030, with the Brazilian winger set to earn a net total of €100 million over the next five years.

Extended Until 2030

Vinícius' agent, Frederico Pena (who also represents Endrick), initially preferred shorter-term deals to maintain flexibility. However, this extension adds three years to his current contract, keeping him at Madrid until 2030. This marks Vinícius' third contract with the club: the first upon his arrival at age 17, the second in 2022, and now this latest renewal.

Highest Earner at the Club

The new deal makes Vinícius Real Madrid's top earner. His 2022 contract guaranteed him €75 million over five years (€15M net per season), with a progressive salary structure. Now, his annual net salary will rise to nearly €20M. By comparison, Mbappé's reported base salary is €15M, though the Frenchman received a substantial signing bonus, effectively spreading additional earnings across his five-year deal.

Ballon d'Or & The Best Incentives Retained

The contract maintains performance-based clauses, including bonuses for team trophies and individual milestones (e.g., goal targets, Ballon d'Or, or FIFA The Best awards). For instance, Vinícius earned an extra €2M after being named FIFA The Best in 2023, atop his €15M base salary.

Immediate Effect

Unlike typical extensions that activate after the current deal expires, Vinícius' upgraded terms take effect immediately, meaning his ~€20M net salary starts this season and runs through 2030. The contract remains progressive—his cumulative net earnings from 2025 to 2030 will approach €100M.

A Rise Forged by Hard Work

Vinícius' journey epitomizes perseverance. His first Madrid contract at age 17 (activated at 18) placed him among the squad's lowest earners, but by 2022, his salary had risen to €4.7M net. Structured increments and relentless growth have now positioned him alongside Mbappé and Bellingham as a cornerstone of the club.

Unwavering Loyalty

Despite a reported €1 billion offer from Saudi Arabia over five years, Vinícius never considered leaving. Similarly, Madrid never entertained his sale. Today, the 23-year-old stands as a talisman, integral to the team's present and future.
