According to Foot Mercato, Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab are keen to sign Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré this summer.
Doucouré has played a key role for the Toffees this season, featuring in several positions, including central, defensive and attacking midfield.
He has scored three goals and provided one assist across all competitions. He signed a new contract with Everton in 2023, which expires this summer.
With his contract set to expire, interest in Doucouré has increased from clubs outside England.
Al-Shabab have already started discussions and made an initial salary offer worth around €3.6 million.
However, Doucouré is believed to be holding out for a higher package before making a final decision about his future.
The SPL has experienced rapid growth thanks to the signing of players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kanté.
Al-Shabab are hoping that their project and financial offer will convince Doucouré to join them in the Middle East.
Other clubs are monitoring his situation as he heads towards free agency this summer.
His contract status makes him an attractive option for clubs looking to bring in experience without paying a transfer fee.
Doucouré joined Everton from Watford in 2020 and has since become a vital part of their midfield setup.
His energy, ball-carrying ability and strong defensive work have made him a key figure for the Toffees.
