    Marco Verratti is poised to acquire a 40% stake in Pescara, the club where he launched his professional career.

    The former Italian international was promoted from Pescara's U18 team to the first team in 2008. He joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 and remained with the club until September 2023. He is currently playing for Al-Arabi SC in the Qatar Stars League.
