In the German DFB-Pokal final, Bielefeld faced off against Stuttgart. Stuttgart demonstrated dominant attacking play, with Waldemar Anton opening the scoring, Enzo Millot netting a brace, and Serhou Guirassy also getting on the scoresheet. Although Bielefeld pulled one back through Janni Serra, an own goal from Josha Vagnoman added further drama. Ultimately, Bielefeld fell short, losing 2-4 to Stuttgart.
This marks Stuttgart's fourth German Cup title in their history and their first triumph in the competition in 28 years.
Stuttgart's previous DFB-Pokal victories came in 1954, 1958, and 1997.
