Ruben Amorim asserts that he is convinced Manchester United are making progress, despite their disappointing results this season.
Manchester United lost the Europa League final to Tottenham on Wednesday and will conclude their worst-ever Premier League campaign at home against Aston Villa on Sunday.
When asked if he regretted joining the club, Amorim stated that he did not and believes advancements are occurring.
'I didn't regret it,' he said. 'I suffered, as any Mancunian suffered.'
'The problems ran deeper than I anticipated. There's instability; everyone is changing, and all departments are undergoing transformations.'
'Yet, I believe we are taking steps to enhance things. It's not visible yet, I understand, because the results are so poor. But we are in a better position. I can assure you of that.'
Regarding whether the club is in a better position since his arrival:
'I think it's healthier. The results don't show it. We've had worse outcomes, but as a club, we're in a better place in the small things that will become significant in the future.'
'I know what we're doing, and that gives me optimism for the future.'
