After four seasons at Serie A Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi has officially taken over as manager of Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.
Inzaghi has been announced as the new coach of Al Hilal and will reportedly become the highest-paid manager in the world on a salary of around €25 million per season.
His new club confirmed that he has put pen to paper on a two-year contract that will begin immediately, allowing him to take over for the Club World Cup, with his first competitive match in charge to be against Real Madrid on June 18.
He heads to Saudi Arabia with one Serie A title, two Coppa Italias, three Italian Super Cups and two Champions League runners-up medals to his name after a successful spell at Inter that ended in disappointment.
In his last season as Inter Milan coach, Inzaghi's team failed to win any trophy and suffered a 0-5 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League final.
