Igor Tudor is set to remain as Juventus’ head coach after earning the trust of the club’s top brass.
The Croatian had signed on as an interim gaffer until the end of the 2024/25 season, replacing Thiago Motta in March.
Despite his contract automatically extending until the summer of 2026 after securing Champions League qualification, the Bianconeri have been seeking a high-profile manager to replace Tudor.
However, their search has proven futile, with their top target Antonio Conte deciding to remain at Napoli after winning the Serie A title. Gian Piero Gasperini, who was also on Juve’s wishlist, will leave Atalanta to become the new manager of AS Roma.
Tudor has slowly turned his situation around after holding positive talks with Juve’s newly appointed general manager Damien Comolli.
Due to a lack of top-quality alternative options on the market, the Old Lady have decided to stick with Tudor to helm the club’s project.
The Italian giants are also looking to back Tudor in the transfer window, as the former Hellas Verona boss has requested the signing of Bologna’s Dan Ndoye to bolster the attack.
An overhaul is expected this summer as the Bianconeri plan to build a formidable squad to compete for major trophies next season.
Tudor’s first big test will be the Club World Cup, as Juve are prepared to face Emirati club Al Ain in their opener this month.
