The squad number Liam Delap will wear following his transfer to Chelsea has been confirmed.

Delap completed a switch from Ipswich Town on Wednesday evening and has signed a contract with the Blues until 2031.

The striker, who netted 12 Premier League goals last season, will wear the Chelsea No.9 shirt.

According to previous reports, Chelsea activated Delap's £30 million release clause, which came into effect after Ipswich was relegated from the Premier League.
