West Brom have secured Nat Phillips from Liverpool on an undisclosed fee for a three-year deal.
The centre-back spent last season on loan at Derby, featuring in 32 Championship games, and is leaving the club where he progressed through the academy to make 29 first-team appearances for the Reds.
Phillips told West Brom's official media: "A key factor is that this is a major club with high ambitions – and I believe those ambitions match mine. I think everyone at the club would like to see it competing for promotion and striving for Premier League football – and that's exactly what I want too."
"I'm really excited about this and as soon as I learned of the interest, I wanted to join and start right away."
"I've had several loans over the past few years, and it'll be great for me and my family to settle somewhere and build a strong connection with the club and its fans."
