Robert Vilahamn has departed from his position as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur Women, as announced by the Women's Super League club.
Tottenham Hotspur Women finished second from the bottom in the previous Women's Super League season.
This development comes shortly after the men's team head coach Ange Postecoglou left, just 16 days following their Europa League final victory.
Vilahamn, aged 42, joined Tottenham Hotspur in July 2023 after managing Swedish club BK Hacken, and in his first season, he led the team to a sixth-place finish and the Women's FA Cup final.
Despite signing a new three-year contract in July 2024, the Swedish coach is leaving after an underwhelming second season.
"There have been some memorable moments during Robert's time with us, including reaching the FA Cup final for the first time," said Tottenham Women's managing director Andy Rogers in a statement.
"However, the results and performances this season have not met our expectations, and it is the appropriate time for a change.
"We would like to thank Robert for his professionalism and dedication over the past two seasons, and we wish him success in the future."
