Aaron Judge is once again making history.
This time, the New York Yankees star has tied a record held by St. Louis Cardinals legend Mark McGwire from outside his own organization.
Judge hit his 11th first-inning home run on Monday night, matching the most through a team's first 78 games in MLB history, according to Baseball Reference's Katie Sharp.
McGwire achieved this feat in 2000, not during his famous 1998 season with 70 home runs.
This marks another impressive accomplishment for Judge.
Pitchers should take note and be more cautious during his first at-bat, as he consistently sets the tone early.
Judge has now reached 28 home runs overall this season, with an astonishing 39% coming in the first inning.
Few would doubt he'll add more in the opening frame as the season continues.
