According to Sky Sports Germany, Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad presented Leroy Sane with a substantial €100 million (£85m/$113m) contract over four years, but the German international has declined it as he is on the verge of finalizing a new deal with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich is expected to secure an agreement with Sane in the coming weeks, with the contract extending until 2028. He is likely to accept a reduced salary, earning €10 million per season, which could increase to €14 million and €16 million based on bonuses.
The former Manchester City star has also received attention from Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal, but he has chosen to remain at the Allianz Arena to pursue his ambition of winning the Champions League with Bayern.
Under manager Vincent Kompany, Bayern Munich aims to recapture the Bundesliga title by defeating RB Leipzig on May 3 in an away fixture.
