Lens coach William Steele has officially signed a contract with Southampton, which will last until June 2028. Southampton will officially announce Steele's appointment this weekend.
William Steele, a 32-year-old English coach, took over Lens in Ligue 1 last summer and coached for a year, leading the team to 8th place in Ligue 1. Southampton ranked last in the Premier League this season and has been relegated to the Championship several rounds in advance.
